Account & login

I'm not receiving my magic link email

Vocdeck uses passwordless login — we send a one-time link to your email instead of asking for a password.

Still stuck? Email [email protected] from the address you're trying to log in with.

How do I delete my account?

Open the app and go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You'll receive a confirmation email; click the link in it to finish the deletion. All your data will be removed within 30 days.

If you can't access the app, email [email protected] from your account email and we'll delete it for you.

How do I change the language I'm learning?

Tap the language name in the header of any main screen to switch between your existing languages, or go to Settings → Languages to add a new one.

Subscriptions & billing

How do I cancel my subscription?

Vocdeck subscriptions are managed by Apple through the App Store. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Find Vocdeck and tap Cancel Subscription.

You'll keep access until the end of the current billing period. We don't have the ability to cancel subscriptions on your behalf — Apple requires you to do it yourself.

How do I restore a purchase on a new device?

Log in with the same email you used when you subscribed, then go to Settings → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.

How do refunds work?

Because subscriptions are billed by Apple, refunds also go through Apple. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides whether to grant the refund based on their policy.

Do I need a subscription?

Yes — Vocdeck is a subscription app. You can try a limited amount of practice for free to see how it works, but ongoing use requires an active subscription. You can also take our free vocabulary test on the web anytime, without an account.

Using the app

My progress isn't showing up

Vocdeck keeps your progress on your device and syncs it to our servers. If something is missing:

A translation or example sentence looks wrong

Our content is curated and reviewed, but mistakes can still slip through. If you spot one, please email [email protected] with the word, your language pair, and what you'd expect to see. We use this feedback to correct the catalog.

How does review timing work?

There's no review queue or due dates to manage. Vocdeck tracks how well each word has stuck and brings it back as your memory of it fades — sooner for words you find shaky, much later for words you know well. Just practice when you can; the app decides what to show you.
